Updates?

Well, life is SO good! I know I havn't blogged in like an eternity, but who cares, no one really reads this blog... Do they? If you do, please comment and let me know, because I don't really know if anyone does... But, back to my updates, life is so good! I have been really good. I have been home sick for a couple weeks, but I am finally getting better. I don't really know what to blog about today... So were going to talk about how behind I am in school right now... I am SO behind on my science project it is not even funny. I was suppost to do it like years ago, but have never got around to it... It is due the day I get back from break, which is in like 4 days... EEK. And, it is 1:27 AM and I havn't slept well in days... So, I think that this is going to be cut short due to my lack of sleep and my lack of resposibility to do things in school...

2009!

So, this is my first post of '09. I have been SO behind latly!! I have just had the craziest couple of weeks! Spending a lot of time with my family and stuff. I stayed home untill January 5th. I am back in New Jersey now and just kickin' it! I'm just laying on the ground of my frineds room wrapped up in my green blanket. I had Saturday morning crew this morning.. But I accidently slept through it... Woophs.. Well, actually I was a half hour late.. But the teacher running it this week really showed me grace by just making me do two meal crews instead of two Saturday morning crews! I was just so thankful when she said I didn't have to do two Saturday mornings. But, anyways, I am just going to tell you some of my new years resalutions (spelling!?).

--My first New Years resalution was to be a better Christian, in any way shape or form.
--My second New Years resalution was (as mad as you may be at me) was to lose weight, but in a healthy way.

I don't have too much to post to day because I have not been doing a lot lately at all..
My ankle is ALL better, which is AMAZINGG!
I am no longer sick, of anything..
My head feels a lot better since the concussion and all that.
And I am really just doin' dandy!

Well, this is all I really have for today.

Home at last!

The crazy-ness of finals week is OVER!
Hip-hip-hooooray!

It is such a magnificent feeling to be home!
I just LOVE it!!

Here in Chi-Town, all the houses are lit up, hot chocolate fills my belly as me, my brother and sister make an ice rink in our back yard.
I love winter!!
It is so fun to have the snow!!
New Jersey has had hardly ANY snow!!
But, being home is the PERFECT ending to an amazing year.
Being home with family, being able to RELAX after a long term, and getting adjusted to Purnell.
It has felt like SO long!! But it has been truly stupendious!!

I am already freakin' out about next semester though!! I am taking English 9, World History, Reading and Writing Workshop, Pre-Algebra, Survay of Arts, Affinitys, Integrated Science, Topical and Study Skill Seminars, and on top of it all, I am taking two independent courses! Spanish 1 and Algebra one!! It is going to be a PSYCO semester!!

Then, this summer I am taking Geometry, and Biology so I can next year take Algebra 2 as my math, and Chem as my Science, then I will be taking Anatomy and Spanish as independent courses. English 10, American History, Reading and Writing Workshop, Affinitys, and Seminars. I will also be a big sister, for school that is, and I will be in Hand Bells, Adlibbers, I'll be a door knocker and in Greens.

Then the summer after this, I will be taking Oceanography and Calculous. And as for my Junior Year, I am going to be in English 11, Reading and writing workshop, Russian History, Creative Writting, Art History, Modern Dance, Clowning, Affinitys, and Seminars. And, as for my independent courses, Spanish 3 and another type of Science. And as for extra things, I will be in Adlibbers, Bells, I'll be a door knocker, a big sister, I'll be in Greens

Then the summer after that, I will be doing a math and science. Then for my classes as a senior,
I will be taking Photography, a math, a science, English 12, a writing/english class, a dance class, Affinitys and Seminars. Then as independent courses, I will probably be taking another science and Spanish 4!! Then I'll be in Bells, Adlibbers, Greens, Big sister, and I'll be a door knocker...

YAYYYYYYYYY!!!
Hopefully, this will get me into a good college with a scholarship(:

YAY!

All for now!!
(sorry, I don't know what a good verse would be for this!!)

I MISS KAMP!

So, I lied, I am posting again. I was just hangin' out with some friends and I was like "OH! I am going to go look at kamp pictures!" When your a Kanakuk addict, like myslef, that's not smart. I MISS KAMP!!
I just love spending three weeks of my summer in the wonderful, Branson/Lampe Missouri area.
To be honest, it makes my year. Ever since my first year at kamp, in 2001 I believe, I have wanted to live there! I would pray that my parents would work for camp so I could live there, because quite frankly, I though that every single person who worked there, lived there. I would tell my mom, I think like everyday, that I missed Reno and that I wanted her to adopt me. But, as the summers went on, I got so attached to the wonderful staff, and all the people supporting me, I just wanted to stay there more and more!! Finally, two summers ago, 2007, I was at k1, that was my last year at k1. I think that was the hardest I have EVER cried to get to (or in my case to HAVE to) leave somewhere! I started to think to myself about how my next summer was going to be soo different! Through the whole year, I didn't really know if I was going to go to k2. I mean, yea, I wanted to go to kamp, but I just would get so upset everytime I thought about NOT going to k1!!! I just loved k1 so much, and I just felt like I was going to be leaving something behind! I felt like I was leaving behind people that have helped me be the person I am today! It was so upsetting to NOT be spending my summer with the numerous k1 leadership girls, counclers, UC's, and O'Sages that I LOVED! Of course some of the staff came, worked and eventually stopped working after a couple summers. It was so upsetting to me! I would always wonder where they went and why they didn't come back! Over all, there are a lot of people who made my k1 experience what it was, including Jenifer Farley (Reno), Melissa Houston, Callie Dollof, the Coopers (even the kids), Amy Westervelt, Kelly Nall, Haley Weaver, The Fess twins, Laura Ringenburg, Amber Gray, Cate Davis, Abbie Walden, Molly Miller and Anna Hendry. I think that these people are just GREAT! They have really help mold me into the person I am today, not all of them have been there the whole time I was there, but some of them have, and the ones that havn't still have touched my life incredibly.

As the year went on, I decided to go to k2, and if I didn't?
I wouldn't be doing to hot right now.
This past year has been a really tough year for me, and if I didn't go to k2, I don't think I would have such supportive people in my life. I don't think that I would have the amazing Trish Helsel, or Ashley Robbins there for me every step of the way. I don't really know where Kanakuk finds these people but their AMAZING! I want to spend my whole year with all of them! It would be so great!!! This was my first year at k2, so I can't say to much about it, but what I can say is that I loved it and I love everyone there!

I LOVE AND MISS ALL OF YOU AT KAMP, AND EVEN JUST KAMP!!!
That's all for now

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Life is Crazy!

Okay, so this week has been SO crazy!
Friday, I had classes ALL day, then I studied, studied, studied! After that, I went and worked out for like an hour. Later that night, I had some food, and then I went and hung out with some friends, we went to watch/perform in dance, voice, and other things like it, then we went to "shopRite" and got 24 bottle of peach tea, some noodles, and just chilled untill like 4 in the morning! It was GREAT!
Saturday, I woke up at 8 AM and went to work on the history paper I posted about yesterday! And, as I was running around I fell down the stairs and "twisted" my ankle! So, like any normal person, I laid down, iced my ankle and tried to sleep!! About an hour later, my friend Caroline called me and said that we were going to go to the mall. So I walked over to this little tiny bus that our school drives us around in, I climbed in, and we were off! I didn't get much at the mall except for a pair of black skinny jeans that I needed for a perfomance later in the week and a gift for my "secret snowflake" it was a good trip to the mall! Me and Caroline got some Auntie Anns, which is tradish. We really just hung out! We sat in the food court, most of our time there, just chillin' out because my ankle hurt so bad! After we got back to school we watched some movies in Gould louge, and drank GALLONS of energy drinks and peach tea! It was so fun! Once again, we hung out untill like four in the morning. I love my friends!
Sunday, I went to IMCC, a local "urgent care" and they broke the bad news, my ankle was fractured! Other than that, I just hung out with my friends ALL DAY! It was so fun! Later that night, I did some homework, studied my tail off, and just RELAXED!
Monday, The classes started all over again. I was in school all day. It felt so LONG! After that, I had circut trianing. SO FUN! But not really, I couldn't do anything, so I sat and read about Russian history, (pointless!)!!
Then Yesterday, OHHH YESTERDAY! I started my new blog, the one your on... AND we had three dance performances AND I had a show with my whole grade, I sucked!
Well, kind of. I didn't do so well in the acting department, which was HUGE!!

Well, now were on today, Wednesday, I just had a science final, I did pretty swell!
Now, I'm just chillin' out!

But I don't have much else to say for now, except that I'm doing STUPENDIS!
(:

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Yes, some things are pointless...

Okay, right now I am sitting on the floor of my history class.
And much like many other high school students, I think school is...
...POINTLESS!!!!
But, as I'll say again, I think every high school student does.
In my opinion, they only teach us a half of the stuff we need to know for college,
AND the other half, we'll NEVER use again.
But, hey! That's alright! Right?
So, the other day I was talking to my friends about this, and they agreed.
Now all we need to do is CHANGE IT!
But the thing is, I don't know if I would take the time to do it because I am trying to find colleges to apply to!

Now, I know I am only a freshman, but I am seriously already running around
like a chicken with its head cut off trying to figure out what I am going to do for college..
I already know that I want to Major in Teen Physiatrics or Orthopedic Surgury. And, I want to minor in either Sports Medicine or Business. I'm just going CRAZY!
Quite frankly, I am WAY to young to worry about this,
BUT I DO! It's crazy!
and, believe it or not...
... it's POINTLESS!!

It is pointless for me to be worrying about college.
It is pointless for me to be worrying about things that are you of my control!

An anxious heart weighs a man down….
Proverbs 12:25

Now, don't get me wrong, I am not here to preach to you and say
"Don't worry! Everything is going to be alright!"
"There's nothing to worry about! The Lord provides!"
"There should be no troubles in your world!"

Because it is not true!
The truth is, you don't know what is going to happen!

But I have experienced FIRST HAND, it is easier to go through your day
WITH THE LORD CARRYING YOUR BURDEN!!

Well, I am the last one sitting in my class and I still need to crutch over and get my lunch.
I love yall alot!
